Executive Team
Xavier Nevez
Chief Executive Officer
Xavier Nevez joined Zurich Eurolife in 2011. He is currently Managing Director, and has over 20 years' experience in Financial Services. He is also a Member of the Board of the Association of Luxembourg Insurers (ACA). Xavier started his career as attorney-at-law with Loyens & Loeff (in Paris and Luxembourg) and joined an international bank in 2006 where he was the company secretary. He moved then in the insurance sector in 2009 to join Swiss Life Luxembourg as Regional Head Legal & Compliance. Xavier is a qualified lawyer and holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Nancy and an executive MBA from HEC Paris. Xavier is also an alumni from INSEAD further to the completion of the advanced management program.
Marion Chalon
Head of Operations
Marion Chalon joined Zurich Eurolife in 2011. She is currently Head of Operations, in charge of Information technology, Customer Services and Claims with over 20 years' experience. Marion is involved in several transformation projects in Luxembourg. Marion started her career with Aviva in Luxembourg. She then joined Zurich where she held various positions in Project management, Information Technology and Risk management.
Miloslav Cutka
Head of Market Management Europe
Miloslav Cutka joined Zurich Eurolife in 2010. He is currently Head of Market Management, in charge of product development, underwriting and marketing activities of the company, and has over 15 years’ experience in Financial Services. Miloslav started his career as Financial Controller in Siemens Group. He moved to the insurance sector in 2005 to join Lombard International Assurance in Luxembourg where he was Legal Counsel involved in structuring of large and complex business cases. Miloslav holds Master’s Degree in Economics from University of Economics in Prague and Master’s Degree in Law from Charles University in Prague. Miloslav likes to spend quality time with his family and to go hiking during his free time.
Philipp Resch
General Counsel Luxembourg Chief Compliance Officer
Philipp Resch joined Zurich Eurolife in 2014. He is currently General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, and has 15 years’ experience in Financial Services.
Philipp started his career as attorney-at-law with BRS Rödl & Partner (in Paris and Frankfurt). He then moved to the insurance sector in 2007 to join Lombard International in Luxembourg where he was Head of Business Legal. Philipp is a fully qualified German lawyer and holds a LLM from the University of San Francisco, USA. He is married with two children and is a member of the Harmonie de Soleuvre as an accomplished oboe player.
Andrew Turner
Chief Financial Officer
Andrew is coming from the Isle of Man and he joined Zurich International in 2014. With over 6 years of experience in the Financial Accounting and Reporting team, he successfully completed his ACCA qualification. He has been within the “Planning and Performance Management team” as Finance Business Partner for Integrated Benefits International.
In 2023, Andrew joined Zurich Eurolife where he is currently leading the Finance & Accounting functions, including Actuarial. Alongside his professional pursuits, he enjoys to follow sports, playing golf and staying active through exercise.
Moritz Löschner
Regional Director of Customer and Distribution Management
Moritz has been part of Zurich Insurance for over a decade, working in various capacities ranging from Customer & Distribution Management to Underwriting roles in both Corporate Life & Pensions and Commercial Insurance sectors.
In 2016, he transitioned to Zurich Global Employee Benefits Solutions (ZGEBS) were he led the sales team in Europe. Moritz joined Zurich Eurolife in 2023 where he currently oversees both the Zurich Eurolife and ZGEBS sales teams in Europe.
Yvette Froger
Chief Risk Officer
Yvette is coming from Zurich Insurance Benelux, where she has served as the Chief Risk Officer since 2019. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and a Bachelor and Masters in Dutch law (university of Groningen). She also holds a degree in Compliance and Business Risk management.
In 2024, Yvette joined Zurich Eurolife where she is currently responsible for managing risk frameworks, providing valuable advice and monitoring risk.
